Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Chase Ries (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joey Hardy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Chase Ries has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Chase Ries seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chase Ries!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joey Hardy!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Chris Downing and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ries has a takedown stuffed.
Hardy shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Ries as he avoids it easily.
Good shot there by Ries.
Ries takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Hardy fails with the takedown.
Ries works the jab nicely.
Ries slips under a jab from Hardy.
Hardy changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ries tries to avoid it but Hardy manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ries to the ground. Ries escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Chase Ries has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joey Hardy.
Ries fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hardy manages to avoid it.
Ries lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Hardy circles away quickly and effectively.
Ries stuffs the takedown.
Ries lands a big uppercut and Hardy crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Hardy looks OK. Ries waves Hardy back to his feet!
Hardy is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hardy glances at the clock... BAM! Ries nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Hardy crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Hardy is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Chase Ries!
Chase Ries decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
