The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nurminen misses with a looping right.
No joy there for Nurminen, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Stroud fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Nurminen on the side of the head.
Stroud doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Stroud is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Nurminen darts in and clinches Stroud up against the cage.
Nurminen misses with a punch to the body.
Nurminen is trying to break the clinch but Stroud is controlling him.
Stroud lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Stroud gets underhooks to prevent Nurminen's takedown attempt.

Nurminen's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Stroud buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
