Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Demetrious Johnson Jr!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Lars Gordon!
The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Viktor Lagutenko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gordon keeps the fight on the outside.
Johnson Jr tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Gordon swivels and escapes.
Johnson Jr uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Gordon.
Gordon fails with an attempt to clinch.
Johnson Jr tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Johnson Jr takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Gordon misses with a wild body shot.
Gordon throws the left hand but Johnson Jr avoids the punch easily.
Johnson Jr dodges the punch combination from Gordon.

Johnson Jr closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Gordon's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Johnson Jr stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gordon swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Johnson Jr controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Gordon looking to control but Johnson Jr passes into half guard.
Johnson Jr perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Gordon tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Johnson Jr has advanced to mount. Uh oh.

Gordon is trying to reverse the position but instead Johnson Jr has taken his back - oops!
So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
Gordon is really stuck here.

Johnson Jr is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Gordon defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Gordon rolls, trying to escape but Johnson Jr keeps control of the position.

Johnson Jr has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Gordon has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Gordon is trying to control his opponent's hands. Eventually Johnson Jr gets his hands free and sinks in a rear naked choke. For a while it looks like Gordon is going to survive but after struggling valiantly, he eventually has to tap out! Johnson Jr is your winner!
