Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jose Teter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marshall Matters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Jose Teter has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Jose Teter seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Matters feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Matters stands up from Teter's guard - Matters perhaps looking for a knockout.

Teter fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Matters, pushing him back against the cage.
Matters jumps guard but Teter stands there with Matters around his waist. Matters gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Teter lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Teter wants to free his trapped foot but Matters is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Matters is working on a guillotine. He's managed to get to full guard and he's really squeezing tight! Teter is tapping! Great win for Matters!
