Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Louis Gaudinot!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Yuki Takano!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, William Peck and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gaudinot displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Takano.
Takano uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Gaudinot.
Takano shoots in and drives through. Gaudinot sprawls well.
Gaudinot shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Takano napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Gaudinot working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Takano takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Takano looking for a sweep but Gaudinot has passed into full mount! Oh no!
Gaudinot has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Gaudinot is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Takano is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Takano flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Gaudinot anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Takano and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Gaudinot slips an arm under Takano chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Gaudinot has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Gaudinot is squeezing on Takano like an anaconda would it's prey. Takano fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Louis Gaudinot!
