Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tristan Alighieri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Buri Grimnir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alighieri comes to the cage accompanied by Mosquito Song by Queens Of The Stone Age. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grimnir throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Grimnir throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Alighieri's waist but Alighieri gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Grimnir off to one side.
Alighieri tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Grimnir was well out of range. Poor timing from Alighieri.

and Grimnir counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Alighieri's guard now.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close round but I would say that Tristan Alighieri will probably get the nod.

Alighieri will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Alighieri is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Grimnir's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Grimnir's back!

Alighieri is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Grimnir with him. Grimnir is trying to defend but Alighieri has an arm under the chin now! Grimnir grimaces and is forced to tap out!
