The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Fonseca gets a double leg takedown into Smith's guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Fonseca trying to control the position from guard on top but Smith is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Fonseca prevents Smith from getting back to his feet.
Fonseca controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Guilherme Fonseca has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Fonseca shoots in and drives through. Smith sprawls well.
Fonseca will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Smith cracks Fonseca on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Fonseca falls backwards against the ropes. Smith follows up with more strikes that drop Fonseca to his knees. Smith keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Fonseca! This one is all over!
