The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Noguer drives through with a takedown into Phok's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Noguer wants to pass the guard but Phok is keeping the position.
Noguer must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Phok has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Noguer can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Phok could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Phok wants to sweep here but Noguer controlling him for the moment.
Phok manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Phok goes for an armbar but Noguer turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Noguer.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Phok is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Noguer drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Noguer seems to have locked his on tight now - Phok screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Noguer, as he picks up the win!
