Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Aafke Stam and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Barysas.

and Micthell counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Ignas Barysas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Micthell is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Barysas is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Micthell is controlling him.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Barysas gets caught flat footed, as Micthell shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Barysas is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Micthell is controlling him.
Micthell pushing down on Barysas's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Micthell looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Micthell perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Barysas is in trouble now - Micthell has advanced to mount!
Micthell moves to back control.

Barysas trying to get back to his feet but Micthell is in full control for now.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Barysas is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Micthell gets his way!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Micthell is looking for the choke from the back position but Barysas is controlling his hands well.
Well, with Micthell on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Barysas is tapping out... Can he escape the position?

Micthell is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Barysas won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Micthell off his unconscious opponent!
