The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gracie feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Gracie wants to control from the top but Nobody keeps moving.
Nobody wants to control but Gracie passes easily into half guard.

Nobody is defending against the submission attempts here by Gracie.
Nobody avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Gracie.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Gracie is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Nobody doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Gracie.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Gracie has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Gracie shoots for a double leg takedown but Nobody sprawls well. He's pushed Gracie's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Nobody looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Gracie is fending him off so far but Nobody persists. Nope, Gracie circles away and we're back to standing.

Nobody is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Gracie gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Nobody is pressed up against the cage. Gracie has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Nobody down to the mat. Nobody avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
