The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Proteus throws a leg kick but Kingston sees it coming and moves out of range.
Kingston moves into the clinch.
Kingston throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Proteus blocks it with crossed arms.
Proteus wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Proteus is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Kingston unloads a knee to the mid-section.
Kingston landing knees to the head.
It looks like Paul Proteus has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Proteus tries to pull guard but Kingston holds him up against the cage and eventually Proteus drops back down to his feet.

Kingston fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Proteus looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Kingston creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Proteus's defenses.

Kingston has Proteus pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Proteus is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Kingston - that's hurt Proteus badly! Oh, another knee lands and Proteus is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Proteus doesn't seem to be complaining.

Lehbron Kingston spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
