Malone has chosen Jimmy Hendrix - Vodoo Child as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Malone misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Mutou.
No luck for Mutou with that takedown attempt.
Malone cracks Mutou with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Malone throws a right hand that Mutou ducks under and follows up with a left that Mutou also avoids with ease.
Malone throws a hook but Mutou blocks it.
Mutou misses with a takedown
and Malone counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Mutou fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Malone avoids it really well and circles away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Keiji Mutou. That's going to take a lot out of him.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Malone throws a hook to the side of Mutou's head but Mutou sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Malone jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Malone throws a nice outside leg kick.

Malone throws a looping overhand right but Mutou ducks down to avoid it.
Mutou shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Malone but Malone pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Malone throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.

Malone sends Mutou crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Malone is motioning to the referee to let Mutou up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Mutou is rocked!

Malone throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

and Malone counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Oh Mutou is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Malone pivots, looking for a leg kick but Mutou is out of range and Malone settles back down.
Malone cracks Mutou with a hook to the temple - Mutou is on wobbly legs here! Malone swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Mutou falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Malone wins by TKO!
