Ilic dives in and grabs Maximus's left leg, looking for a takedown. Maximus pushes down on Ilic 's head and hops out.
Ilic takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Ilic misses with a series of wild punches.

Maximus moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! Ilic goes down! Can Maximus finish him!?

It looks like Sfet Ilic has been cut.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Ilic can do anything to dispel that myth.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Maximus stands up and beckons Ilic to join him on the feet.
Ilic throws a head kick but Maximus moves out of range.
Maximus lands a nice looking body shot.

Maximus drops Ilic with a left right combo! Maximus follows him down to the ground into side control.

Maximus postures up and throws a massive shot that knocks Ilic out cold! Two more strikes to his unconscious opponent for good luck and this one is all over! Maximus goes absolutely crazy with his corner! Wow, you can see how much that win means to him!
