Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bruce King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and TsanSpec USpec (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). King comes into the arena with Pitbull ft Marc Anthony Rain Over Me blaring out of the sound system. The key to victory for Bruce King has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces USpec back to the cage. King follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
USpec looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
A chopping leg kick lands by King.
King connects with a jab.
King connects with a leg kick. USpec looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

King darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

King is working for a kimura but USpec is defending it quite comfortably.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
USpec won't allow King to pass to mount.

King tries to pass the half guard into mount. USpec knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

USpec shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Bruce King seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
King lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
USpec takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
USpec stops a takedown attempt from King.
USpec wants to take the fight to the mat but King manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

King drives through and clinches with USpec against the cage.

King has hold of one of USpec's legs. USpec is fighting the takedown attempt but King gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
King chips away with some ground and pound.
King pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. USpec is keeping the position for now.
USpec is breathing heavily.
King content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.

King drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and King jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

USpec has momentary wrist control but King slips an elbow through the middle.
USpec wants to sweep here but King controlling him for the moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
King is looking to advance position but USpec has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
Bruce King overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

USpec is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, King has managed to free his arm - good work.

King is trying to control the position but USpec postures up.

King has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but USpec can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
USpec wants to stand but King is controlling his posture from full guard.

USpec loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

King has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but USpec can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
USpec postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
USpec postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
USpec trying to control but King is working from the bottom.
King knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for USpec on the ground.
USpec postures up in King's guard and throws a big left but King blocks it.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
King wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and USpec is now in half guard.

King lands with a nice combination. USpec backs away looking to recover.

King fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.

King pushes USpec up against the cage in a clinch.
King lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.

King jumps into guard, dragging USpec to the mat.
USpec takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
USpec trying to control the position from guard on top but King is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
King wants to stand but USpec is controlling the position.

USpec postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
USpec looking to sit in guard and control but King gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
King trying to control the position from guard on top but USpec is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
King has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
King is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because USpec is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
USpec is trying to control the position but King postures up.

King stands and steps away. USpec gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

King has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. USpec avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

USpec drops back looking for a leg! King is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and King manages to kick USpec off! USpec jumps back into King's guard.

USpec wants to control from the top but King keeps moving.
USpec tries to free his leg and advance position but King is retaining full guard.

And that's the end of the fight!
Bruce King showed his dominance in that final round.
Well King has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
