The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Peters lands a lovely overhand right.

Peters closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Blom swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Peters is now in Blom's guard. A big mistake from Blom there, giving up the dominant position!

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Peters in particular looking to stall.

Blom has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Peters is working away from the top position though.

Well Peters has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
