The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Norris.
Norris throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Norris tries to clinch up.
Norris fails with the takedown.
Mason has his takedown stuffed
and Norris counters with a nice low kick that buckles Mason's knee momentarily.
Mason shoots in for a double leg but Norris sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Mason misses with a takedown attempt
and Norris counters with a good, hard body kick but Mason shrugs it off.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Marshall Mason. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Mason is breathing heavily.
Mason shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Norris tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Norris throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Norris lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Mason crumples to the floor! Norris milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!
