The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yu Nao throws a big shot that misses.
Nice jab there from Yu Nao.
Yu Nao misses with an uppercut.
A left and a right from Yu Nao both land. Nice combination.
Yu Nao digs a good hook to McThornbody's body.
Yu Nao's corner calls for a 1-2. Yu Nao obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
McThornbody changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Yu Nao misses with a straight right.
McThornbody tries to score a power double leg takedown but Yu Nao sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten McThornbody somewhat.
McThornbody fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
McThornbody shoots in but Yu Nao avoids the takedown attempt easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gristle McThornbody. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Yu Nao fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

Yu Nao stuffs the takedown.

McThornbody closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Yu Nao quickly recovers to half guard.

McThornbody is looking for a kimura but Yu Nao is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for McThornbody to get the leverage.
Yu Nao is controlling McThornbody's position as best he can from this difficult position.
McThornbody trying to control the action but Yu Nao is working from the bottom.

McThornbody stands up and beckons Yu Nao to join him on the feet.
McThornbody tries to close the distance and clinch but Yu Nao swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

McThornbody gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Yu Nao.
McThornbody throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Yu Nao's waist but Yu Nao gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing McThornbody off to one side.
Yu Nao moves into range and connects with a jab.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

McThornbody gets in close and instigates a clinch.
McThornbody is trying to pull guard but Yu Nao turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
McThornbody tries to pull guard but Yu Nao won't allow it.

McThornbody is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Yu Nao is keeping busy.

McThornbody breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Horrible takedown by McThornbody or perhaps it was just good defense by Yu Nao which made him look bad.
McThornbody is breathing heavily.

McThornbody tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Yu Nao swivels and escapes.
McThornbody shoots in and drives through. Yu Nao sprawls well.
Yu Nao cracks McThornbody with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Yu Nao fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Yu Nao works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Oh McThornbody is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Yu Nao throws a shot to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Yu Nao circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops McThornbody to the canvas! McThornbody doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Yu Nao keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!

During a confident post fight interview, Ai Kill Yu Nao thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
