Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Renato Otis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damien Walker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Damien Walker is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Renato Otis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Damien Walker!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Otis keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Walker tries to clinch up but Otis circles away and keeps his distance.

Walker shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Walker was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Otis is trying to improve his position.
Walker wants to stand but Otis has his arm trapped.

Walker tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Walker has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Otis sneaks back into half guard.

Walker is working for a kimura but Otis is defending it quite comfortably.
Otis wants to control but Walker is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Otis is looking for a sweep. Walker is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Walker wants to take a breather but Otis is having none of it.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Poor strikes thrown by Walker there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Otis tries to lock up and control but Walker gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Otis tries to reverse the position but Walker maintains control.
Otis slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Walker is looking to take a break and control but Otis is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Otis holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.
Otis has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Walker is working away from the top position though.

Otis tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Otis wants to control but Walker is keeping busy and won't allow it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Renato Otis has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Otis shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Walker but Walker pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Otis gets in close and instigates a clinch.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Otis is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Walker can't fight it off and eventually Otis manages to take the fight to the floor. Walker looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

That was a close round but I would say that Renato Otis will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Renato Otis wasn't doing enough on the ground.

Otis has Walker up against the cage in a clinch.

Otis manages to pull guard.
Otis managing to control the position.
Otis preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Otis wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Walker manages to pass to side control.
Walker is just content to waste time from the top position. Otis takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

Otis wants to sweep but no luck.
Otis controls Walker momentarily but Walker frees himself.
Walker is looking to pass into half guard but Otis pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Otis is in guard.

Walker tries to strike from the bottom.
Otis wants to control from the top but Walker keeps moving.
Walker manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Otis manages to get himself to full guard.

Otis is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Otis closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Otis lands in his opponent's guard.
Otis wanted to stand there but Walker had control of the position.

Walker can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Otis controls the pace.
Walker controls Otis momentarily but Otis frees himself.
Walker takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Damien Walker wasn't active enough on the ground.
Walker wants to clinch up but Otis keeps it at a distance.
Walker walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Otis checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Otis looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Walker is fending him off so far but Otis persists. Nope, Walker circles away and we're back to standing.
Walker tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Otis fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Walker to the ground. Otis is now in Walker's guard.
Otis looking to sit in guard and control but Walker gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Walker takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Otis changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Walker tries to avoid it but Otis manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Walker to the ground. Walker escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Otis throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Walker's waist but Walker gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Otis off to one side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Renato Otis. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Walker changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Otis looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Otis, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
