The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Turnstile gets a takedown into half guard.
Turnstile is trying to control the action in half guard but De La Cruz is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Turnstile working over De La Cruz with some ground and pound. De La Cruz looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Turnstile drops an elbow to the side of De La Cruz's head.
Turnstile wants to control but De La Cruz is keeping him busy.
Turnstile wants to pass the guard but De La Cruz is defending well.
Turnstile lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
De La Cruz wants to control but Turnstile is keeping busy.
Oh De La Cruz is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Turnstile in particular looking to stall.
Turnstile's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
It looks like Turnstile might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Turnstile connects with a nice short shot to De La Cruz's temple.

Turnstile is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, De La Cruz is hurt! He's hurt bad - Turnstile fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save De La Cruz from any more punishment! Congratulations to Turnstile! Great finish!
