The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Finkelton throws out a powerful jab.
Finkelton moves into range and connects with a jab.
Severed misses with a head kick.
Finkelton lands a body shot.
Finkelton misses with a jab, cross combination.
Horrible takedown by Severed or perhaps it was just good defense by Finkelton which made him look bad.
Severed shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Finkelton as he avoids it easily.
Finkelton throws a hook but Severed blocks it.
Finkelton lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Severed shoots in looking for a takedown but Finkelton manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Severed's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dan Severed. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Severed on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Finkelton misses with a double jab.
Finkelton throws a one two combo.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Severed lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

It looks like Bart Finkelton has been cut.
Severed takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Severed looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Severed is rocked!
Severed takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Oh Severed is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

A combination from Finkelton does no damage.
Finkelton connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Severed's hands.
Finkelton fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Severed looks to score with a jab to the body but Finkelton is just out of range.
Severed takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Severed tries for a takedown but Finkelton circles away easily
and Finkelton counters with a crisp right that sends Severed to the canvas! Finkelton follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
