Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Nick Cole (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Acevedo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nick Cole has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Nick Cole!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tony Acevedo!
The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cole misses with a wild combination.
Acevedo tries to close the distance and clinch up but Cole swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Acevedo shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Cole but Cole pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Acevedo has a takedown stuffed.
Cole tests Acevedo's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Cole scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Acevedo cracks a nice hook into Cole's ribs.
Cole throws a jab but it's blocked by Acevedo.

Cole tries to bum rush Acevedo with a series of wild strikes but Acevedo uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Acevedo is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Acevedo shoots in but Cole avoids the takedown attempt easily.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Acevedo takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Cole looks to land a combination. Acevedo sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

That was a close second round but I would say that Nick Cole will probably get the nod.
