Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Gunner Reed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kosi Mazaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Gunner Reed!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kosi Mazaki!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Eliza Hachem and Donatello Bradman.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Reed has taken the fight to the clinch.
Mazaki is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Mazaki looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Reed escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Reed missing with a left hand there. Mazaki was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Mazaki with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Reed lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Reed scoring well with a low kick there.
Mazaki walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Mazaki takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Mazaki gets tackled into the cage by Reed. Reed maintains the clinch.

Reed pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Mazaki misses with a straight left.
A looping hook to the body misses from Mazaki. Reed does a little dance to reset his feet.
Reed keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Mazaki misses the jab.
Mazaki misses with an uppercut.
Mazaki takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Reed lands a slapping body shot.
A looping hook to the body misses from Mazaki. Reed does a little dance to reset his feet.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Mazaki ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Reed moves away.
Mazaki walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Reed takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Reed moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

Mazaki is rocked!
Mazaki backs away from a small jab... but Reed lunges forward with a huge superman punch! Mazaki crumples to the ground as his mouth piece is sent flying! Reed with a spectacular finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Superman Punch). Gunner Reed!
Gunner Reed decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
