I think Ross might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Here Comes the Boom-Nelly. Hector Ross could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Jaiden Berzins's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ross doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Nice takedown defense from Berzins. No joy for Ross on that attempt.
Ross on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Ross shoots for a double leg takedown but Berzins sprawls well. He's pushed Ross's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Ross takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Ross shoots in looking for a takedown but Berzins manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Ross's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hector Ross. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ross tries to close the distance and clinch up but Berzins swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Berzins digs a good body shot into Ross's ribs.
Hector Ross seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
