The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nolam tries to close the distance and clinch but Whitfield swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Nolam is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Whitfield looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Nolam closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Whitfield's guard.
Whitfield keeping moving, preventing Nolam from controlling successfully.

Whitfield has control of Nolam's left arm, preventing Nolam from doing any damage.

Nolam drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Nolam jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Nolam bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Whitfield connects with a leg kick. Nolam looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Whitfield lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Whitfield bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Nolam's head backwards.

Nolam has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Nolam there as he acknowledges the shot.

Whitfield throws an overhand right that drops Nolam like a sack of potatoes! Whitfield dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
