The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

West fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Holm looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

That was a close round but I would say that Jacob Holm will probably get the nod.

Holm connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between West's hands.
West has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Holm finds it's way round the side to connect with West's head.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! West crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Holm - the referee stops the clock and West gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Holm. West manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

West takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jacob Holm.
Well Holm has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
