The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Kaho, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Cosme tries a head kick but it misses.
Cosme circles away from the clinch attempt.
Kaho misses with the combination.
Cosme tries to land a front kick but Kaho steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Cosme throws a leg kick but Kaho moved away.
Kaho on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Kaho tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Cosme manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Cosme throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Kaho moves in looking to clinch but Cosme pushes him off.
Cosme buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Kaho fails in his attempt to clinch.
Kaho keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Kaho tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

A big head kick from Cosme and Kaho is sent sprawling to the canvas!

It looks like Daouda Kaho has been cut.

Kaho wants to stand and escape but Cosme is having none of it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cosme is looking to work some ground and pound but Kaho has wrist control.
Kaho has a closed guard, preventing Cosme from standing up.
Kaho is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Cosme has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Cosme postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Kaho is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Cosme, into his guard.

Cosme looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Kaho passes into side control.
Cosme is looking to get back to his feet here but Kaho is keeping cool and he's managed to take Cosme's back.

Cosme wants to control his opponent's hands but Kaho gets his hands free.
Cosme turns into Kaho and is now in his guard.
Cosme trying to control the position from guard on top but Kaho is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Cosme looking to sit in guard and control but Kaho gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Kaho wants to stand and escape but instead Cosme has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Cosme wants to pass the guard but Kaho is keeping the position.
Cosme prevents Kaho from getting back to his feet.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

That's time! Cosme's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Cosme tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Kaho manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Cosme Cosme is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Cosme moves into range and connects with a jab.
Cosme Cosme is winning the standup battle so far.

Cosme clinches with his opponent.

Cosme escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Cosme lands with a straight right. Kaho didn't see that one coming.
Kaho takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Kaho tries to clinch up but Cosme circles away and keeps his distance.
Cosme Cosme seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kaho stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Cosme.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Cosme swats away the attempt to clinch by Kaho.
Cosme pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Kaho tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Cosme paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Cosme feints with a jab and clips Kaho right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Kaho is sent crashing into the canvas and Cosme leaps in for the kill! Kaho tries to get to his feet but Cosme is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Kaho is in need of a savior and steps in!
