PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Michael Kimmo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sinisa Veljko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Kimmo might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Roni Size-Bite The Bullet. Veljko has chosen Stemm - Face the pain as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Michael Kimmo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 15 - 2, fighting out of Sydney, Sinisa Veljko!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Summer Carpenter and Bruno Hogan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Veljko shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Kimmo counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Veljko tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kimmo paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Kimmo throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Veljko misses with a body punch
and Kimmo counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Veljko fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Kimmo sprawls well initially but Veljko persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Kimmo wants to get back to his feet.
Veljko not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Kimmo is refusing to be controlled, as Veljko sits in half guard.
Ground and pound from Veljko.
Veljko thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Kimmo's head.

Kimmo is in trouble now - Veljko has advanced to mount!
Veljko throwing strikes here but Kimmo is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

Veljko pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Kimmo is trying desperately to improve position.
Kimmo is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.

Veljko sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

Kimmo is rocked!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Veljko loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Kimmo scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Veljko land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Veljko stands and salutes the crowd.
