Soto comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Busta Rhymes Feat Eminem - I'll Hurt You kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Soto tries for a takedown but Black sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Soto closes this distance looking for a takedown but Black circles away.

and Black counters with a low kick, right behind Soto 's knee.
Mr Black has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Luiz Soto.
Soto tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Black paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Black lands with a right hand.

Soto moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

and Black counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Soto is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Soto drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Black tries to buck Soto off but Soto is having none of it.
Black on the wrong end of some ground and pound.

Soto throws a strike aimed at the side of Black's head but Black avoids it well.
Black tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Black gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

Black moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Black is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Soto has his hands clasped together but Black extends and breaks Soto's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Black.
