PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gena Krocodil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Caschera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Caschera is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Crimson King by Demons & Wizards limited edition. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Krocodil misses with a takedown attempt

and Caschera counters with a right hand that sends Krocodil tumbling to the canvas! Can Caschera finish him? He dives into Krocodil's guard looking to do just that!

Krocodil is rocked!

It looks like Gena Krocodil has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Caschera drops back looking for a leg! Krocodil is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Krocodil manages to kick Caschera off! Caschera jumps back into Krocodil's guard.
Krocodil will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Caschera drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Caschera jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Caschera drops back looking for a leg! Krocodil is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Krocodil manages to kick Caschera off! Caschera jumps back into Krocodil's guard.

Caschera drops back, looking for a kneebar! Krocodil looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Krocodil looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Krocodil!
Caschera is trying to buck Krocodil off.
Krocodil tries to stand but Caschera is controlling his head.
Krocodil really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Caschera wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

Caschera sneaks out the side door and pushes Krocodil away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Caschera waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract Krocodil. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Krocodil to the canvas! Can he finish him!?
Oh Krocodil is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Caschera arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Krocodil's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Max Caschera!
