The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saltzman on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Saltzman gets a double leg takedown into Brooks's guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Saltzman accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Brooks looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Saltzman throws a sloppy strike and Brooks has hooked up an armbar on the loose arm! He's turned and extended fully! Saltzman is forced to tap! Great BJJ from Brooks!
