The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ripley throws a right and a left that both miss.
Croak blocks a leg kick.

Croak pushes Ripley up against the cage in a clinch.
Ripley jumps guard but Croak stands there with Ripley around his waist. Ripley gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Ripley is trying to pull guard but Croak turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Croak breaks from the clinch.
Croak uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Ripley.
Croak tries to clinch up.

Croak closes the distance and clinches.

Croak escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Ripley misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
John Croak has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mr Ripley.
The fight stays on the outside here - Croak looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Ripley rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Croak moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Croak bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Croak slips a jab and a cross from Ripley.
Ripley throws a right hand that Croak ducks under and follows up with a left that Croak also avoids with ease.

Croak pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
John Croak is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Ripley lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Croak circles away quickly and effectively.

Croak forces Ripley back against the cage and clinches.

Ripley swinging wildly here.
Ripley throws a right hand that Croak ducks under and follows up with a left that Croak also avoids with ease.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Croak lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.

Ripley tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Croak manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.

Croak displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Ripley.

It looks like John Croak has been cut.
Ripley's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Croak connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Ripley scrambles back to his feet.
John Croak is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Ripley tries to pull guard but Croak holds him up against the cage and eventually Ripley drops back down to his feet.
John Croak has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mr Ripley.

Ripley misses with a takedown attempt - Croak sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Croak has his feet on Ripley's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.

and Croak counters with a one-two to the body.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Croak drives through and clinches with Ripley against the cage.
Ripley lands with a short punch from the clinch.

Croak manages to break the clinch.
Croak Rushes Ripley and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! Ripley is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Croak Piles on the pressure and Ripley crumples to the floor! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). John Croak!
