Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tomaz Emilianko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). John Brown is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tomaz Emilianko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, John Brown!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Tatsuya Matsuyama.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown tries to clinch but Emilianko moves out of range.
Brown fails with an attempt to clinch.
Emilianko tries for a takedown but Brown sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Brown misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Emilianko closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Brown to the mat! Brown manages to get full guard.

Brown tries to bum rush Emilianko with a series of wild strikes but Emilianko uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Horrible takedown by Emilianko or perhaps it was just good defense by Brown which made him look bad.

John Brown seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The referee calls for the fighters to work.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Brown pushes Emilianko off looking to stand but Emilianko dives back in and keeps control.
Emilianko is taking a breather. Brown says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Emilianko is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Brown has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Emilianko has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Brown taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Emilianko doesn't care though - he's delighted!
