The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rogers misses with the combination.
Rogers misses with an attempted mid kick.
Rogers swats away the attempt to clinch by Nilenders.
A nice leg kick lands there from Rogers.
Rogers's jab looks to have found its range, popping Nilenders under the eye.
Dan Rogers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nilenders is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Rogers.
Left hook, right uppercut from Rogers.
Nilenders throws a jab but it's blocked by Rogers.
Rogers feints a jab promting Nilenders to slip. Rogers then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Nilenders slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Nilenders takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Rogers goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Rogers pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Nilenders back to the ropes. Rogers follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Nilenders is rocked!
Nilenders swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Nilenders is still on wobbly legs! Can Rogers finish him?
Nilenders throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Rogers lands a slapping body shot.
Nilenders drops his guard momentarily, allowing Rogers to crack him with a picture perfect lead left hook! Boom! Down goes Nilenders! Oh, he's in big trouble - I don't like his chances here as the referee's count reaches 5. 6,7,8,9...10! He's out! Rogers takes it!
