The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pride shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Herod as he jumps to the side.

Herod closes the distance and clinches.
Pride is looking for a takedown up against the ropes. Herod gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Pride drops back looking for a leg! Herod is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Herod manages to kick Pride off! Pride jumps back into Herod's guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Pride shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Pride showed some decent athleticism there.

Herod has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Pride. Oh but Herod has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Pride goes limp - he's gone! Herod jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
