Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Rex Tyler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyrone Wallace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tyler comes into the arena with Solonen ja Kosola - RÄPPII blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Rex Tyler!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tyrone Wallace!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Radbod Blank and Patrick Alders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wallace tries to close the distance and clinch but Tyler swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Wallace closes this distance looking for a takedown but Tyler circles away.
Wallace dives in and grabs Tyler's left leg, looking for a takedown. Tyler pushes down on Wallace's head and hops out.
Wallace moves in looking to clinch but Tyler pushes him off.
Tyler misses with a takedown attempt - Wallace sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Tyler feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Tyler sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Wallace's guard.
Tyler has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Wallace is trying is best to control the position here.
Tyler wants to free his trapped foot but Wallace is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Wallace is looking to improve his position.
Wallace keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

Tyler throwing shots but Wallace is blocking nicely.

Wallace pushes Tyler off looking to stand but Tyler dives back in and keeps control.

Tyler is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Wallace doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Tyler.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Tyler is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Tyler wants to pass to mount but Wallace is defending the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Tyler is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Wallace is just riding it out for now. Tyler eventually gives up the hold.

Tyler is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Wallace has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Tyler is working away from the top position though.

Tyler is trying for a kimura here. Wallace looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Tyler wins by kimura!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Rex Tyler!
