Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alaric Cosenza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Emerson Cain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cain has chosen I Love this Road (Emerson Drive) as his entrance music. Emerson Cain will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Alaric Cosenza!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Emerson Cain!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Elvis Blanc and Gregory Folan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cain will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Cain misses with a series of wild punches.
Cain getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Cain throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Cosenza crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Cain - the referee stops the clock and Cosenza gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Cain. Cosenza manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Cain throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Cosenza.
Cosenza fails with a takedown attempt.
Cain goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Emerson Cain seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

A looping hook to the body misses from Cain. Cosenza does a little dance to reset his feet.
Cain throws a nice looking combination but Cosenza bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Cosenza throws a series of punches but Cain avoids them all with ease.

Cosenza closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

It looks like Emerson Cain has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Cosenza creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Cain sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Cosenza scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Cain is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Cosenza can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!

Alaric Cosenza decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
