Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Will Boulks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josh Lebow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Will Boulks!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Josh Lebow!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, George Francis and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lebow looks to land a right hand but Boulks moved out of range.
Lebow misses with a lunging right hand

and Boulks counters with a nice double leg into side control. Lebow won't be happy with that.
Lebow tries to buck Boulks off but Boulks is having none of it.

Boulks stands up.
Lebow throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Boulks counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Lebow wants to control but Boulks is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Lebow makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Lebow.
Boulks wants to control from the top but Lebow keeps moving.
Lebow has a closed guard, preventing Boulks from standing up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Boulks sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Lebow controls Boulks momentarily but Boulks frees himself.
Boulks wants to control from the top but Lebow keeps moving.

Will Boulks has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
A punch combination from Lebow misses.
Lebow lands with a thumping leg kick.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Lebow throws a quick inside leg kick.
Lebow connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Lebow tries to land a leg kick but Boulks saw it coming and moves away.

and Boulks counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Boulks.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Boulks controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Boulks trying to stand up but can't free himself from Lebow's guard.

Boulks slips nicely into half guard, despite the strikes coming from Lebow.
Boulks wants to take a breather but Lebow is having none of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Boulks tries to stand and escape but Lebow is controlling the position.
Lebow wants to get back to full guard.
Lebow has his hands clasped together around Boulks's back. He's all about the action.
Boulks wants to stand up but Lebow has a hold of him and won't allow it.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Boulks trying to control the action but Lebow is working from the bottom.

Will Boulks has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Lebow throws a sloppy head kick and Boulks moves out of range easily.

Lebow throws a head kick but Boulks moves out of range.
Lebow takes a swing at Boulks's ribcage but misses.
Lebow swings widly with a right hand

and Boulks decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Lebow's guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Boulks tries to stand but Lebow is controlling from the bottom.
Boulks passes easily into side control. Nice work.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Boulks is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Lebow knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Boulks looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Lebow is avoiding damage well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Lebow misses with a wild combination.

and Boulks counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Lebow looks like he's trying to stand up.
Lebow is trying to maintain the position but Boulks is very close to passing his half guard.
Boulks not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Boulks throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Boulks is looking to take a break and control but Lebow is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Will Boulks.
Boulks avoids the head kick by Lebow.
Lebow throws a leg kick but Boulks moved away.
Boulks avoids a kick to the body.

and Boulks counters with a takedown into side control.
Boulks working the body and head with strikes.
Will Boulks overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Boulks wants to stand but Lebow is controlling his arm.
The ground and pound from Boulks seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Boulks wants to control but Lebow is keeping him busy.

Boulks is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Lebow is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Boulks has control of an arm but Lebow manages to advance to Boulks's back!
Lebow somehow managing to miss with a strike from the back.
Lebow gets his hands free as Boulks looks to control.
Lebow controlling well, preventing Boulks from escaping the position.
Boulks turns into Lebow and is now in his guard.
Boulks would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Lebow wants to stand up but Boulks is controlling him.
Boulks trying to control but Lebow is working from the bottom.
Boulks is looking to stand up but Lebow won't let him.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Will Boulks.
Boulks blocks a head kick by Lebow.
Lebow tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Lebow takes the fight into the clinch.
Boulks is working for takedown but Lebow is calmly controlling the position for now.
Boulks prevents Lebow from breaking the clinch.

Boulks has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Lebow avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Lebow struggles to land a body shot inside as Boulks controls his hands.
Lebow misses with the head strike.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Boulks is looking for a takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Will Boulks. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lebow tries a body shot but Boulks blocks it.
Lebow stalling in the clinch but Boulks improves position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Boulks's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. And we move into the final round!


Lebow looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Lebow lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Boulks has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Boulks and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Boulks avoids the head kick by Lebow.

Lebow gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Lebow wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Boulks has him pressed against the cage.
Boulks blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Lebow is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Boulks taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Lebow is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Lebow breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Boulks takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Lebow throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Boulks.
Boulks takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Lebow throws a head kick that misses.
Lebow misses with a wild body shot.
Lebow scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Lebow throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Will Boulks is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Lebow scores with a three punch combo!
Boulks slips a straight right by Lebow.
Josh Lebow is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Lebow scoring well with a low kick there.
Lebow throws a low kick, looking for Boulks's leg but Boulks calmly moves out of range.
Lebow swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Lebow uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Lebow clinches up against the cage.
Lebow misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Boulks.
Lebow misses with a punch to the body.
Boulks is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Lebow is trying to force a seperation but Boulks has the dominant position.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Lebow lands with a light punch inside.
Lebow tries to break the clinch but Boulks is controlling the position.

Boulks wants the takedown. Lebow is fighting it off but Boulks persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Lebow's guard against the cage.

Boulks gets to his feet. Lebow looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Boulks blocks a leg kick.
Lebow wants to slow Boulks down by chopping away at his legs.

Lebow forces Boulks back against the cage and clinches.

Boulks is trying to trip Lebow. He has hold of a leg but Lebow is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Boulks persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Boulks has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Lebow is proving hard to escape from.
Boulks trying to control but Lebow is working from the bottom.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Lebow not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

We're going to have a standup here because Will Boulks wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

and Boulks counters with a nice double leg into side control. Lebow won't be happy with that.
Will Boulks is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Boulks is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Lebow will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Josh Lebow has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Lebow is not content to let Boulks control the position.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Josh Lebow.
I think Boulks has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
