Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jeremy Coleman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Angelo Izzo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jeremy Coleman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Angelo Izzo!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Izzo cracks a nice hook into Coleman's ribs.

Coleman is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Izzo moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Coleman drops back, looking for a kneebar! Izzo looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Izzo looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Izzo!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Izzo wants to stand but Coleman is controlling his arm.

Coleman working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Izzo tries to buck Coleman off but Coleman is having none of it.
Izzo is pushing Coleman's head away, looking to escape. Coleman manages to hold on to the position though.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Coleman is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Izzo is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Coleman wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Izzo, who protects the arm well.
Izzo manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Izzo wants to lay and pray for a moment but Coleman keeps working.

Izzo wants to control but Coleman is keeping him busy.

Izzo is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Coleman has managed to free his arm - good work.
Izzo passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Coleman!

Izzo takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Coleman has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Izzo is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Coleman.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Izzo looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Jeremy Coleman will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


Izzo shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Coleman as he jumps to the side.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Coleman is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Izzo is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Izzo has escaped and now he's on top!

It looks like Jeremy Coleman has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Izzo is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Coleman to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Coleman shrugs it off.

Izzo working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Coleman sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Izzo maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Coleman could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Izzo has cracked it and Coleman is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Izzo!
