PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mac Mooseheads (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Notorious P I G (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
P I G lands a body shot.

P I G fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Mooseheads manages to avoid it.
Mooseheads tries to clinch there but P I G circles away.
Mooseheads takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
P I G displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Mooseheads.
Mooseheads throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around P I G's waist but P I G gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mooseheads off to one side.
A combination from P I G does no damage.
Mooseheads is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

P I G gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Mooseheads postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! P I G is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Mooseheads, into his guard.

P I G is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
P I G must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Mooseheads had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. P I G defends it easily.

Mooseheads has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think P I G should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Mooseheads has tightened it up now! P I G should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
