Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between William Sims (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Herald Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Taylor has chosen Smoke the Fire!! as his entrance music. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, William Sims!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Herald Taylor!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Roger Salmon and Chris Saunders.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Taylor closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Sims lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Sims will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Taylor up against the cage.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Sims just misses with a elbow thrown towards Taylor's brow.

Sims is fighting off a takedown attempt but Taylor is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Sims to the mat. Sims regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Sims has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Sims working for a triangle but Taylor defends it easily.

Sims has his foot on Taylor's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Taylor works his way back into a safe position though.

Sims escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Taylor gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Taylor is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Taylor has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Sims celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
