Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Deon Walker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chuck Lytle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Deon Walker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chuck Lytle!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Gwen Towbar and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Walker fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Lytle sprawls well initially but Walker persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Walker is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

Lytle looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Lytle is not content to let Walker control the position.
Walker looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Lytle with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Lytle has hold of Walker's hands but Walker slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Lytle is refusing to be controlled, as Walker sits in half guard.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Walker lands a nice short elbow.

Walker is looking to advance position but Lytle won't allow it.
Walker is trying to control. Lytle wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Lytle has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Walker can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Lytle can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Walker controls the pace.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Deon Walker.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Walker connects with a nice short shot to Lytle's temple.

Walker changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Lytle looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Walker is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Lytle's shoulder. That is not cool.
Lytle takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Walker creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Walker just content to control the position.
Lytle tries to bench press Walker off him but Walker keeps the position.
Walker wants to lay and pray for a moment but Lytle keeps working.
Lytle is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Walker cracks Lytle with a big elbow.
Walker lands a few punches from side control.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Lytle is looking to regain half guard here but Walker keeps moving and retains side control.
Lytle manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Deon Walker overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Lytle is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Walker doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Lytle.

Walker has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Well, if Walker is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

We're going to have a standup here because Deon Walker wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Well Walker has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
