With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Philip Farmery!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Andrew Berry and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Farmery displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Thompson throws out the jab.
Thompson sizes up Farmery with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Thompson jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.

Farmery is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Thompson sees it coming and defends easily.

Farmery is stalling here. Thompson is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Farmery seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Thompson has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Farmery can't do much from the bottom here.
Thompson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Farmery keeps working.

You can see the frustration on Farmery's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Philip Farmery wasn't active enough on the ground.

Thompson throws a series of punches but Farmery moves out of range.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Farmery holds on and takes a little breather.

Oh but Farmery is tightening it up a little... Thompson has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Thompson reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Thompson taps out! Nice BJJ there by Farmery!
