Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Frederick Barbarossa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Bash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bash has chosen Undead as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

With a record of 18 - 17 - 1, fighting out of London, Jon Bash!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Phil Schofield and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barbarossa moves out of range as Bash strikes.
A solid leg kick lands there for Bash.
Barbarossa throws a body punch but Bash moves out of range.
Barbarossa misses with a telegraphed body shot
enabling Bash to counter with a crisp jab.
Bash throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Bash comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Barbarossa falls off balance throwing a combination
enabling Bash to counter with a crisp jab.
Barbarossa thows a left - swing and a miss!
Barbarossa misses with a body shot
and Bash connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Barbarossa throws a half hearted mid kick.
Frederick Barbarossa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bash throws an overhand right that lands on Barbarossa's shoulder, as Barbarossa tries to avoid the shot.
Bash ducks under a wild hook from Barbarossa.
Barbarossa lands a lovely overhand right.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Barbarossa connects with a good right hand that stumbles Bash. Bash circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Barbarossa will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Bash takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Barbarossa tries to bum rush Bash with a series of wild strikes but Bash uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Barbarossa tries to land a front kick but Bash steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Bash connects with a leg kick. Barbarossa looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Barbarossa takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Bash cracks Barbarossa with a right hand to the side of the head.
Barbarossa misses with a combination
and Bash counters with a left to the body.
Barbarossa throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Barbarossa swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Bash misses with an uppercut. Barbarossa saw that one coming.
Barbarossa connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Bash's hands.
A big left from Barbarossa misses.
Barbarossa misses with a wild body shot.
Bash fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Bash has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.
Bash showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Barbarossa.
Barbarossa misses with a hook. Bash ducked under it nicely.
Bash misses with a series of wild punches.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Barbarossa tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bash was well out of range. Poor timing from Barbarossa.

and Bash counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Barbarossa throws a leg kick but Bash sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Barbarossa ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bash moves away.

Barbarossa loads up on a big right hand but Bash slips the punch.
Bash throws a chopping leg kick but Barbarossa manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Barbarossa looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Bash slips a jab and a cross from Barbarossa.
Barbarossa misses with the combination.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Barbarossa bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Bash is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Barbarossa had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Barbarossa bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Bash's head.
Good shot there by Bash.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Jon Bash will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Bash catches Barbarossa with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Bash scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Oh Barbarossa is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Barbarossa moves out of range of the strikes.
Bash looks to land a right hand but Barbarossa moved out of range.
Barbarossa slips a jab and a cross from Bash.
Jon Bash seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Bash throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Bash misses with a straight left.
Bash looks to land a combination but Barbarossa avoids it well.
Barbarossa throws a hook to the side of Bash's head but Bash sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Frederick Barbarossa is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Bash throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Barbarossa colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Bash as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Barbarossa is left battered and dazed whilst Bash and his camp cheer!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jon Bash!
