The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, David Schapiro and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Douglas looking to score a takedown here. Klein is defending well but Douglas drives through and ends up in Klein's guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Douglas sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Klein's guard.
Douglas is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Klein has managed to free his arm - good work.
Douglas is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Douglas decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Douglas circles away from the clinch attempt.
Douglas clinches up with Klein and pushes him back against the cage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A frustrated look appears on Klein's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Klein is trying to push Douglas away but Douglas has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Douglas turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Douglas tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Douglas has hold of Klein's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Klein tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Douglas cranks the arm and Klein screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Klein, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Milo Douglas!
