Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Boron Willden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenzo Hara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Andrew Berry and Colin Fotheringham.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Willden lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Hara shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Willden counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Hara shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Willden defends it nicely.
Hara shoots for a double leg takedown but Willden sprawls well. He's pushed Hara's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Boron Willden has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kenzo Hara.
Willden lands a two punch combo.

Hara shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Willden manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Willden is trying to keep Hara in close.
Willden wants to sweep but no luck.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Hara is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Hara drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Hara jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Hara gets to his feet. Willden looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Willden shoots in for a double leg but Hara sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Willden fails with the takedown

and Hara counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Willden knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hara on the ground.

Hara gets to his feet. Willden looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Boron Willden seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hara circles away from the clinch attempt

and Hara counters by moving into the clinch.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Willden content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Hara blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Willden gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Hara.
Hara is defending well against a takedown attempt.

Willden turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Willden manages to end up in side control.
Hara is trying to improve his position.
Hara trying to control but Willden flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Will Willden go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?
You can see the frustration on Hara's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Willden doesn't have the hooks in and Hara manages to turn into his guard.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Hara sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Willden's guard.

Hara has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Willden defend it? Hara steps over the head and cranks it - Willden is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Hara!
