The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santos is looking to clinch.
Moura fails to land with a series of punches.
Santos slaps away a takedown attempt from Moura, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Moura fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Santos to the ground. Moura is now in Santos's guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Santos is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Moura is controlling him.

Moura thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Moura prevents Santos from getting back to his feet.
Santos is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Moura is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Moura won't allow Santos to get back to his feet.

Moura wants to control from the top but Santos keeps moving.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kameny Moura has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Santos tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Moura manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Fabio Santos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Moura keeps the fight on the outside.
Santos misses with a two punch combination.
Moura tries to score a power double leg takedown but Santos sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Moura somewhat.
