Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Cesar James!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Omar Dulaymi!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Wagner Zegers and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dulaymi tries to keep at a distance but James has taken the fight into the clinch.
James tries to throw a body punch but Dulaymi avoids it by throwing James back against the cage.

A head punch on the inside from James fails to land.
James swings wildly with an uppercut but Dulaymi uses good head movement to avoid it.
James scores with a nice hook to the head.

Dulaymi lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Dulaymi is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Dulaymi gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
James tries to close the distance and clinch but Dulaymi swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

James looks to land a combination. Dulaymi sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Dulaymi scores with a head kick. James tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.


It looks like Cesar James has been cut.

James has closed the distance and engaged Dulaymi in a clinch.

Dulaymi pulls James into guard.
James has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Dulaymi is proving hard to escape from.
Dulaymi has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Dulaymi is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
James makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

James tries to circle away but Dulaymi has him pinned against the cage.
James tries to work over Dulaymi's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

James wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

James breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
James stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and James wants it to stay on the feet.
Dulaymi throws a low kick but James avoids it.
James is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Dulaymi escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
James keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

James clinches up with Dulaymi and pushes him back against the cage.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
James lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Dulaymi.

Omar Dulaymi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Dulaymi is trying to drag James to the mat but James just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

James gets caught flat footed, as Dulaymi shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Dulaymi got a little sloppy there for a moment and James has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Dulaymi has managed to get both his arms back between James's legs - danger averted.

Dulaymi drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Dulaymi jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Dulaymi takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Dulaymi dives in and grabs James's left leg, looking for a takedown. James pushes down on Dulaymi's head and hops out.
