Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lucio Rodrigues (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kyo Kurosaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rodrigues's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Sandstorm. The crowd seem to be enjoying Kurosaki's choice of entrance music: Different Sense - Dir En Grey. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kurosaki moves out of range of the strikes.
Kurosaki lands a two punch combo.

It looks like Lucio Rodrigues has been cut.
Rodrigues moves forwards but Kurosaki connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Rodrigues shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Kurosaki cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Rodrigues takes a jab right on the kisser.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Horrible takedown by Rodrigues or perhaps it was just good defense by Kurosaki which made him look bad.
Kurosaki takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
A looping hook to the body misses from Rodrigues. Kurosaki does a little dance to reset his feet.
A cross from Kurosaki lands.
Rodrigues closes the distance but Kurosaki moves to the side
and Kurosaki counters with a nice uppercut.

Rodrigues gets caught napping as Kurosaki dives in and scores a takedown. Rodrigues manages to retain guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Kurosaki loads up on a big left hand. Rodrigues felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Kurosaki looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Rodrigues can't hide his disappointment, as Kurosaki celebrates the victory.
