Berry moves out of range of the strikes.

Kozlov fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Berry avoids it really well and circles away.

Kozlov tries to clinch but Berry moves out of range.

and Berry counters with a single leg into guard. Kozlov didn't expect that.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Igor Kozlov. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Berry accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Berry wants to control from the top but Kozlov keeps moving.
Kozlov has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Berry is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Kozlov creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Berry with a big uppercut! Berry tries to clinch up but Kozlov pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Berry to the mat! Berry covers up and Kozlov unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
