Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Vassily Kuvaldin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kayla Hoffman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hoffman fails with an attempt to clinch.
Hoffman tries to clinch up but Kuvaldin circles away and keeps his distance.
Kuvaldin throws a head kick but Hoffman moves out of range.
Hoffman is looking to clinch but Kuvaldin is avoiding it.
Hoffman shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Kuvaldin looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Good work by Hoffman as he checks the leg kick.
Hoffman wants to clinch.
Hoffman tries to clinch up but Kuvaldin circles away and keeps his distance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kuvaldin wants to land a leg kick but Hoffman is out of range.
Hoffman closes the distance and clinches up with Kuvaldin, looking for a takedown. Hoffman pushes Kuvaldin against the cage but Kuvaldin circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Kuvaldin throws a head kick but Hoffman moves out of range.
Kuvaldin keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Vassily Kuvaldin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kayla Hoffman.
Hoffman changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kuvaldin looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

You can see the frustration on Kuvaldin's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Hoffman is looking to take a break and control but Kuvaldin is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Kuvaldin tries to buck Hoffman off but Hoffman is having none of it.
Kuvaldin manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kuvaldin is breathing heavily.
Hoffman is trying to work for a kimura but Kuvaldin is defending well.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Hoffman swats away the attempt to clinch by Kuvaldin.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Hoffman avoids the head kick by Kuvaldin.
Hoffman tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Kuvaldin counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Kuvaldin trying to control but Hoffman is working from the bottom.
Hoffman keeping full guard, as Kuvaldin tries to pass.
Kuvaldin postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Hoffman is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Kuvaldin, into his guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kuvaldin utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round.

Hoffman has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Kuvaldin to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Hoffman is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Kuvaldin pulls down on the head and he's put Hoffman to sleep! This one is all over!
